Pure for Cure, a Satvik Food distribution program is an initiative of Hare Krishna Movement (HKM) Guwahati. The Hare Krishna Movement was brought to the whole world in this modern age by His Divine Grace. A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (in short addressed as “Srila Prabhupada”).
Srila Prabhupada is the Founder-Acharya of the world-wide Hare Krishna Movement. By his powerful devotion to his Spiritual Master, Srila Bhakti Siddhantha Sarasvati Thakur, and Lord Sri Krishna, he attracted the attention of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to spread His mission all over the planet for delivering innumerable souls to the perfectional stage of life.
This site is a humble offering to Srila Prabhupada who is our eternal spiritual master. May this endeavor please our eternal spiritual master for the benefit of Human Society who are trying to find something permanent, steady, satisfying & blissful in this world of impermanence, misery & dualities.

Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati is feeding 2000+ hospital patients and attendants every day. We have served more than 10 lacs meals to temple visitors and needy people in slums. We have served more than 1 crore meals to patients and attendants in hospitals, old age homes and orphanages since 2010.
The Vision
Srila Prabhupada, the founder-acharya of the Worldwide Hare Krishna Movement asks to practice the following principles:
- Chant the holy names, Hare Krishna maha-mantra every day
- Read the Srimad Bhagavatam, the spotless purana that glorifies the Supreme Lord
